Oracle 8i certification 2

hi,
'am interested in doing oracle 8i certification(OCP- application developer)....can anyone give me the following details....plz...i need to do the cetification....help me out....

1)what is syllabus for oracle 8i OCP exam(application developer not DBA).

2)how much does it cost?

3)plz reccommend few books necessary for writting the OCP exam(for oracle 8i --- application developer)....as i do'nt want to take up a course and want to study on my own.

4)if anyone has the sample OCP exam question paper(for oracle 8i --- application developer) plz send it to me....which will help me on how to prepare for my exam or any site that can give sample paper for ocp exams.

5)when can we take up the exam and how to register for it.

6)between each paper what can be the max gap.

7)if i finish the certification...till when it is valid.

plz answer to my queries as soon as possible.

OCP developer has 4 test on the track. Click on the link below to get more detailed information abt test format and what is included in each test

1 )

2) Each test cost $125 (test fee).

3) If u can get hold of oracle Student Guides (also known as ILT's and STS (practice test) they r 2 good sources fro prep. Also the book by Jason Couchman from Oracle press is a good addition. These recommendations r based on my experience. There r several other books and resources to prepare for tht test.

5) U can take the test anytime u want. U can register for the test by going to

http://www.2test.com.

U can take the test on each track in any order.

6) currently there is no time requirement b/w each test or to finsh the whole track. Only requirement is that if u fail a test u cannot retake the failed test within the 30 day period from the day u failed.

7) Certification usually does not "expire". Normally when a new track is announced one can update to the current track certification by taking an upgrade test.
