I'm currently running Crystal 8.0 against Oracle 9i, with good results. I'd like to move to Crystal Reports 10, since all the intermediate steps seem almost as expensive as 10, and Crystal Reports 10 has a native PDF writer, which I think would be easy enough for me to use.

Anybody know which Crystal Reports 10 Editions support access to Oracle 9i?

I'm currently running Crystal Reports 9 to query Oracle9i Database, and i just got a free upgrade to Crystal Reports 10 Professional from Business Objects, so it must be compatible to Oracle 9i.

Bobby

Hi,
All versions of CR ( at least from 7 on) are compatible with Oracle 9i ( assuming the correct client software is installed on the workstation), especially if you use the Native Oracle connection method. I use 8, 8.5 and 10 on various machines with no problems.

( Be aware of the incompatibilty on higher version of CR designed reports with lower versions..Once it is saved from a higher version, only that version or a higher one can use the report.)
