even I could ping to the server and could tnsping80
Please if any one know any thing about this please help.

Hi,
( What version of Oracle?)

Tnsping only shows that the listener is up and running - it does not indicate anything about the database instance ( the service name) itself..

First, be sure you can do the tnsping on the web server.

If you can, try using SqlPlus to connect to that instance..

If you have a DBA ( or you are one) check the status of the instance by connecting as sysdba ( if you are using tnsping80 , you must be on an older version of Oracle - so you may need to use the connect as dba instead)

thanks,
but the DB is up,the connection is up, and the web server is works good for a period of time and after that the connection lost but when I restart the server or when I run w3wp.exe (it is IIS file located in system32)and end it via windows task manager. the web server again works.

Hi,
Look in the Event Log for any error messages regarding the w3wp.exe or OracleHTTP processes..

Do you have both IIS and OracleHTTP running on the same server..that sometimes can cause issues..
