ORA-02049 Time out.

Hi gurus,
I have an pb application that connects to an oracle database.When I retrieve from a datawindow I get an
oracle ORA-02049 Time out error .When I get the sql from
this datawindow and run it on sqlplus,I get no error.Is this a powerbuilder error or an oracle error?And how do I solve it?Thank you.
