ora-01747 from designer 6.0 patch 7

Hi. I recently upgraded my oracle base to 8.1.7 and upgraded the repository with patch 7 to make it compliant with 8.1.7. Everything installed well and there were no errors generated. However, now I am unable to access reports within Designer. Each time I try to select a domain, diagram, or document name I get the ora-01747 error stating that the table.column does not exist. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know a fix?

sorry I am not so long in this forum, but I hope that you did resolve the problem in the meantime.

anyhow: Designer Patches are always critical. I would recommend you to install Releases only.

The best way is to migrate your data repository to the new Designer 6i Release 4 .

Also to apply the Forms-RunTime-Engines it would be better to update also your developer too.

Your actual problem is a problem we had once too due to the installation of the 8.1.7-Patch, that does not install a production release!!!! Please Migrate at least to the next major release version (I think this has been Designer 6i Release 2).
