ORA-01152: file 1 was not restored from a sufficiently old backup

I am attempting to recover an oracle database from a hot backup on one server to a different server.

It restores ok. But when I get to the recovery I get this error after I try to ALTER DATABASE OPEN RESETLOGS;

Does anyone have a suggestion for me to try.
