Problem 1:
I got 2 PP8610 switches with 3.5.2 firmware. I use Device Import to import the 2 PP8610 switches from the ONMS DB. Well I can learn the interfaces using OPS but when I click the Server report page, the Policy Server said that these 2 PP8610 are not connected. I checked the Interface Manager log file and it said the device is not loaded.
I followed the user guide to add these 2 devices both using Device Import and manually. But both are not working.
Problem 2:
I got a BayStack 5510-24T switch with BoSS 3.0. I can add this device and no error was found. But, when I try to assign a role to an interface and assign a policy to the role, something weird happened. I go to the Interface reporting page and check the status of my policy, and I see that it wasn't exactly the one I want to add. It shows some addition traffic filters with different "Marked DSCP" value (nearly every value has a filter in the policy).
I deploy the same policy to a BayStack 460 switch and it works fine...
Can anyone give me some tips on this lame OPS?
Also is there any Nortel newsgroups? I'd like to do some research too. Thanks a lot.
