I inherited a copy of Nortel Optivity NMS 9.1 from my predecessor and I would like to use it. The problem is I have little to no documentation and I don't know what the password is for either the "Administrator" or "root" accounts. Does anyone out there know what the initial passwords for these accounts are set to when Optivity is first installed?

Its the administrator or root's account password. Optivity doesnt have its own user database. Logon using your root accout or administrator account (NT).
