Optivity Loopback Traffic?

We have a Snort running outside of our AS Boundary Router. All traffic is sent through this router that is not part of our class C address. The intrusion detaction software has an entry from Optivity 9.2 showing a loopback comming from our Routers as 127.0.0.1

When you look in the packet data, it shows this came from Optivity 9.2... any ideas of what may be causing this?
