options gone?

Hi ,
I have kind of a strange one. I opened an existing crystal report, but options aren't available. Select expert, database expert, new formualas, edit formualas, etc are all greyed out, but if I create a new report the options are there.
Any one have any ideas on how to get edit/new options back in my existing reports?

Is the file type of the original .rpt? Some third-party software lets you save report with a different suffix that can be run, but not modified.

If the file is, or was originally, saved as a .rptr file from Crystal, it's a read-only report that can't be edited.

Also check File > Report Options. It might have a check mark on "Read Only". This is one that you can remove.
