I'm looking for a way to send a mail from a SQL Stored Procedure that allows me to specify a reply to value. I'm using SQL 2000 but will be moving to SQL 2005 within three months. Suggestions?

Thank you

OrWolf, if you use the CDO object to send mail then you should be able to use 'AddHeaderField' to add a 'Reply-To' header to the mail.

Have never done this and unable to test at present but it makes sense (in my mind anyway!)

where would we be without rhetorical questions...

I beleive that xp_smtp_sendmail allows you to set this field. Google for it, it should be the first or second thing found.

Thanks Denny. That worked excellent with very little trouble.
