Hi.
Currently with our external programs whether it be a batch program or user interface, we are using the ops$ authentication as well as explicity hardcoding the data source, userid, and password. Our clients are somewhat getting concerned since our hardcoded user/pasword methodology will be printed out in our batch scripts. The ops$ methodology is also causing some stir.
Are there any other ways that I can used to authenticate against an Oracle DB..either another method or 3rd party software.
You assistance is appreciated.
