Options for backing up Open Files

Currently our Networker system skips or fails on open files when it is doing a backup. I have been tasked to figure out how to get it to backup the open files even if it is a fuzzy backup. What are some options?

I am using Networker 7.3.2 on Win2003
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
Use Open File Manager or VSS to include them properly. Or exclude them with directives. There is no other way to my knowledge.

we have couple of servers here uses OFM and it is working will for us, not too expensive - unless the price had changed since.
