Optional parameters

Hi,

I'd like to know how to create a parameter for a report so that it is an optional parameter. User can decide to choose value or leave blank.

Possible with Crystal 2008.
Earlier versions would require you use a "strange" default value and handle that case in your record selection or formula logic.

I'm currently using crystal xI r2 version.

Can you show me an example of how to write the code for the record selection formula to handle optional parameters?
