Hi All,
I have a Polycom videoconference system and I am trying to connect to a remote Polycom via Meridian BRI over PRI.
Here is my setup and what I've done thus far.
- I have programmed and terminated the BRI circuit from the M1 Option 11C to an Ascend Multilink IMUX (which connects to the Polycom). Used UILC and MISP. Status I'm getting for LV1 and LV2 is UP, and ESTA. Calls are going out a PRI to PSTN configured NI-1.
- I am dialing a remote system and the remote system is ringing, but does not fully establish the call. When I monitor the d and b channels I can see the d channel connect ack msgs, and I can see both bchs in 'busy' state.
- when I monitor from the Ascend MUX, I can see both B's as connected at 64K. It remains in this state about 15 seconds, then disconnects.
I know my explanation of the details is a little sketchy, but I'm at a total loss. Everything 'seems' to be programmed correctly, but it just doesn't want to finish negotiating the connection. Does anyone know what could possibly be causing this, or what I could check for?
If you need any further information, please ask and I'll post ... thanks !!!
