When necessity becomes the mother of invention, then a DCR must surely be adversity's child
One of my Sr execs, who should know better, put a big conference call on hold recently... I'll say no more.
After he embarrasses himself, we get approached to find a way to either allow the set user to toggle MOH on and off on a call by call basis or else permit us to control it by class of service. The third option on the table that we'd rather not talk about is to shut MOH off altogether, system-wide.
I think we might be able to accomplish something like this with Tenating, but since I don't have that option on any of my systems there's no way to test it. However, I think I could sell the customer on purchasing the Tenanting feature if we're sure it would work for this specific need.
Anyone know the answer or have a kludge workaround?
Tnx.
