Afternoon people,

When using the wildcard * in a search if more than one answer matches you would have the choice of using the record selector to view each filtered record.
Is it possible to have an option group(or similar) to pop up and list the records giving the user the chance to choose the record required.

e.g. Instead of the record selector showing 1 of 3 the screen would show ;

1 New Park
1 New Square
1 New Avenue

giving the option to choose the individual address

Thanks in advance for all replies.

David

Use Subform for that.
you have to know some VBA code though.
So instead of using the main form to return the info. you put it in the subform.
Then the subform is always a Datasheet view so it shows like a list.

Another option is use a “combo box” or “list box” less VBA coding but less flexible.
This WEB page shows both examples
