I know what Option Explicit is, but when I open up the vba editor in Access I also see Option Compare Database. I've searched the web and have been unable to find out what it is, so I have come here. Could someone explain to me what it is and what it does? Thank you.

From the Help file:

Option Compare Database can only be used within Microsoft Access. Option Compare Database can only be used within Microsoft Access. This results in string comparisons based on the sort order determined by the locale ID of the database where the string comparisons occur.
