I need to do this in an online form. One part of Word help seems to suggest I can add an option button, however all I can find is a simple checkbox. I can't even find an option button that can be added to my Forms toolbar. Anyone know of a way to do this?
Jeff
masterracker@hotmail.com

I found an ActiveX Option Button control. However that appears to have 2 problems:

1. When I insert one, I can no longer protect the document for forms.
2. It looks like I need to write custom VB code to make a group of these function like a radio button.
I just want a "choose one and only one of the following" field in a forms.
Jeff
masterracker@hotmail.com

Hey, Master:

View the Control Toolbox toolbar, there's a radio button on it. The upper-left button on the control toolbox toolbar is depressed when you're in design view. You have to turn design view off to use the button. You don't have to protect the form to use it. Leastwise, not that I'm aware!

That's the one I referred to in my second message. Theoretically you can group option buttons to make a radio button, but it doesn't look like I can without writing special VB code. There's an article in TechNet: PSS ID:Q168851 "WD97: Grouped Floating Option Buttons Not Mutually Exclusive" That seems to address this, but it goes deeper than I want to for this form.
Essentially I want to have a list of choices, say A, B, C, D... That you can click on one and only one. For example, you click on B and the circle next to it shows a dot. You then change your mind and click on C. C now shows the dot and B automatically loses its dot.
Jeff
masterracker@hotmail.com
