Hi,

How can I tell if my PRI (DMS 100) is configured for trunk to trunk transfer? I am not a Northern tech so please be patient.

Thanks you

It is controlled by pbx, not fully by pri, but check route NEDC and FEDC values for ETH. Prt your NET_Data in 21, configure in ld 15 for these options....

EXTT (NO) YES (Prevent) Allow unconditional external Trunk to Trunk transfer.
Enter YES to indicate that a caller can transfer a call made to
one outgoing trunk to another outgoing trunk without restrictions
based on supervision. Trunk to trunk connection features such
as TGAR/TARG and Trunk Barring still apply as appropriate.
Enter NO to indicate that the transfer is allowed only if conditions
regarding supervision are met. This prompt only applies to
situations involving two calls originated by the same caller.
FTOP (FRES)
TBFT FTTB
FTLY
Flexible Trunk to Trunk Connection Option

CDB
Net Data - TRNX-YES
EXTT-YES

RDR Data - CFF (not CFO)
FTR Data - CFF

Check out the FTOP options on your Customer Data Block, you can print it in LD 21
PRT
CDB

FTOP Flexible Trunk to Trunk Connection Option basic-23
(FRES) Flexible Trunk to Trunk is inactive
TBFT Adds restrictions on connections not barred by TBAR
FTTB Lifts TBAR restrictions for routes barred by TBAR
FTLY All set based trunk to trunk connections for Transfer and
Conference are controlled by Flexible Trunk to Trunk
only

All good stuff Thanks guys. It appears that the T2T is working but not for certain numbers. Very strange. I have to get the Nortel guy back here.

You cannot dial a number over a TYPE COT, then dial a second number, connect them together and release. You CAN receive a call, then transfer it out and release. Two different types of call.

But where I would start is the Route Data Block, setting NEDC and FEDC to "ETH"

Print the Route in LD21, to change it, respond YES to CTRL, then those prompts will appear after a few enter key strokes.
