Option 81 Can't SYNC Cores

I am trying to sync the cores on the switch but it is telling me that there is no access to CMDU 1. Someone PLEASE HELP ME!!! What am I doing wrong?

Have you been able to Sync before this, and what caused this to happen?

Yes I have been able to sync the cores before. I tried to enable cmdu 1 and it says No access to cmdu 1. I did stat cmdu and it says that cmdu 0 is enabled and active and cmdu 1 is disabled and (no access to HDK)

I got it I got mad and powered the whole switch down and turned it back on after it rebooted it allowed me to sync them. thank you all for your help!!

powered it down. Hmm. I guess you tried a force switch first?....

Yea it switched but still said that you could not access the HDK. So yea I got mad and powered it down. I probably shouldnt have but it did work.

Is your system swapping Core's at Midnight Routine? If it is, delete the LD 35 routine in your CDB. You don't need to swap per Nortel with newer CPU's, since it tends to lose IP connections. You should swap at your semi-annual diagnostic testing. Also test your UPS at that same time and let it run out of battery and re-charge.

You still haven't found out the cause. Don't worry, it will happen again. But next time, either side might not come back up. Then what?
