Good afternoon,

I have an extension that is used as a "community information" line for the local residents. Recently, it has been flooded by callers out of state (same 4 numbers all of the time). I want to stop these callers, but I know that my switch does not provide this functionality to block these 4 numbers! I even called our provider and theres nothing they can do except purchase a Centrex line and attach some features to it. I didnt want to go this route. So I converted the digital (used to be an ACD #) line to analog and placed a blocking device (made by Digitone) between the wall and the phone. But no caller ID comes through this line now...even placing a simple cordless analog phone w caller Id on the LCD still doesnt display the ID.
Any help getting the caller ID to come through this analog line would be great! Thanks,

Chad

Thanks,

Chad

the NT8D09 cards don't have CLID option
I believe there was/is one that does, but it's uncommon.

Thanks Triton101, yes, that NT8D09 is the card we currently have. Does anyone know of the card that would enable this feature? Or...does anyone have any other creative idea as to accomplish my task?
Thanks

you need to have class modem cards added to your box to enable clid on any analog set..

Thanks for your replies...looks like these are over $1000.00. I think the Centrex line option is probably the way to go then.

Thanks
