A couple years ago the company I am working for purchased a used Option 61 from a Nortel Authorized Reseller. On all the paperwork the switch was described as an Option 61. This last month I was working with my local phone company to make improvements to the switch and the phone company stated that Nortel's records indicated that the switch is an Option 51. Is there a definitive way to identify if this switch is really an Option 51 or an Option 61? I am about to recommend that the switch be upgraded to a 51C or 61C and it will make this process more difficult if I have the wrong switch information.

61c is a redundt switch one core on top of the other
