Hi everyone,

I need to programm a linux DHCP withc option 125 in order to let le devices boot in VLAN 2;
VLAN 1 is the default VLAN (data)
VLAN 2 is voice VLAN.

Has anybody configured one ?

Using options 128, 129, 130 and 132 works, but devices stay in VLAn 1
ICP 3300 is 7.1 version.

Regards

You didn't mention option 133.

option 132 and 133 work in tandem and using 1 requires the other. 132 defines the Vlan, 133 defines the Priority.(typically 6)

Hi, thanks for the answer, but it was not and option 133 trouble; You can get an IP adress even if you don't programm option 133..

Anyway, I've found out...
I guess I'm the first of having to set up a DHCP linux server...abd we've done it.

Option 43 works just as 125 does'nt
Here are the correct options in /etc/dhcp/dhcpd.conf

# Initialisation des options attendues par les telephones option MiTel_43 code 43 = text;
option MiTel_128 code 128 = ip-address;
option MiTel_129 code 129 = ip-address;
option MiTel_130 code 130 = text;
option MiTel_132 code 132 = unsigned integer 16;

# Assignation des valeurs desirees option MiTel_43 "id:ipphone.mitel.com;sw_tftp=10.34.17.1;call_srv=10.34.17.1;vlan=2;l2p=
6;dscp=46;";

option MiTel_128 10.34.17.1 ;

option MiTel_129 10.34.17.1 ;

option MiTel_130 "MITEL IP PHONE";

option MiTel_132 2;
