We have an Option 11c with a local mini-carrier remote. Can we put a trunk card in the remote system so that if our primary office loses our PRI that we could go out through the trunks in the remote office?

We have a wierd situation here in that our primary office has lost our PRI from Verizon 6 times in 6 months (lost it many times last year too) but our T-1 that connects our two offices doesn't go down. So when we lose the PRI we are down for several days untill Verizon gets around to fixing it and noone in either location can call out.

It would be nice if we could use an alternate routing through the other office if it was possible.

Yes, you can use alternate routing so calls go out the trunks on the remote Mini-Carrier shelf when the PRI connected to the main switch is down. Take special care with 911 calls though. If your remote shelf is in a different NPA (state or metro area)than the switch, your emergency calls won't go to the right place.
