So I'm trying to get a VoIP project started, and right in the middle doing the project plan, my Centigram voicemail died in my Florida office. I am trying to sneak a temporary Asterisk system down there as voicemail until I can get the project underway. Has anyone tried this before? I can load the OS and the Asterisk software, but can I use a Digium TDM404B 4FXO Analog TDM PCI Card as the interface between the PBX and the Asterisk system? All I want to do is use the Voicemail portion of Asterisk...

I believe you need a FXS card for the station side. FXO it the originating side.

Can you give me a quick link to the difference between FXS/FXO?
