Option 11C Password

Is there any way to reset the passowrd to default on an Option 11C R23.35? I do not have the current password.

Reinstall the default database, and reconfigure it like the database you have now.

Or call Nortel.

Procedures to reset passwords are not discussed on this forum

If you know who the vendor is that installed it. Give them a call they should have record of the level 1 and 2 passwords. Your the owner of the switch they have to release that to you.

I agree with Marc. Your current / last Maintainence supplier should have the codes. This topic has been discussed many times on this & other forums.
It will I expect, be requested time & time again in the future. Do a search on passwords within Tek-tips & you should understand many of the reasons why respectible engineers such as ourselfs, follow this code of practice!.
