I have a media card that we are running a few IP phones off of that is in an option 11c. The individual that programmed it is long gone and cannot be reached. Is there any way I can reset the user name and password without losing the information. My client has changed their IP string and in need to make some changes. Also I would not be opposed to just wiping the card and starting from scratch if need be. I have the install docs and the tools to log in thru the maintenance port. Thanks for all your help.

Yes I have entered the BIOS via the reboot and JKL at the second line of commands as well as entered the help menu to access all of the short cut codes, but for some reason the ability to change the password and user name has escaped me. Im almost sure im inputting the information incorrectly. If you happen to have the input sequence available i would appreciate it but if not thanks for all your help thus far. I think I will be going back to the BIOS and do a little more research.

PS. the BIOS that i have is VxWorks 5.4 if that makes a difference.

Ive decided to print what Ive done in the BIOS thus far, but to no avail. For some reason I continue to get error codes back? Thank you to anyone who can shed some light at the end of this tunnel?

As you can see Ive been trying to change the user/password to admin/admin but have not been able to do so....

Also i wanted to let everyone know that i have tried all of the usual passwords such as the admin1 password and itgadmin? Really what im trying to do now is reset everything.

if it's setup as an IP LINE CARD for phones, you don't do use the CLI for changing params

you would require OTM or TM to make any IP changes to the card and it does not need a Password or login info....

the password for the CLI from 3.x on was the same as the PBX pass that it's plugged into, so if you need to get into the CLI then try that.

Thanks for the information. Unfortunatly its not working for me? I have tried the user name and password of the PBX at the CLI and to no avail.
What I am trying to do is change the Voice Lan address.

that is normally done from OTM/TM (optivity telephony manager )
