Hi,

Excuse my french but I am a bit of a starter in the Meridian-systems. However, I have a question. We just got a fax-server installed. We attached 4 S0-busses to that fax-server. If we send a fax to one of the s0-numbers, the fax handles it very good. Since we must use more than 4 fax-numbers, we wanted to work with phantoms. Created phantoms which DFWC directly to the ISDN-number. Great... Except, the fax-number thinks the ISDN-number received the fax instead of the phantom. You can imagine that we want to do all kinds of stuff based on the number. Current situation allows us only to do 4 different kind of actions (4 isdn-numbers).

Obviously working with phantoms is not a solution (unless you tell me otherwise), therefore we are looking at ways to program multiple numbers on the s0-bus. I understood that we can program 8 numbers on 1 s0-bus. Hopefully the fax-server does recognise the receiving number than.

Can someone help me ??? And.. please be gentle with the technical terms in your answer. Considder this thread as a "Nortel for dummies" question.

Kind regards,
Willem
