Just installed a option 11 and for some reason you have to dial 9 twice to get an outside line, any Idea why this is happening?

you probably have a centrex service which requires to dial a 9
or you are behind another PBX, which also requires a 9

maybe should check the LD 86
req prt
type esn
check the AC1 you may have 99

if that continues to be a problem you need to build a dmi table that will insert the second nine. is this local ld or both?

LD 10
REQ PRT
TYPE DNB
DN 99

And see what comes up.

But it is right as someone else said. You can print the ESN block in LD 86 and see what comes up on the prompt AC1 or AC2.
You can change it if its wrong.

99 can also be an access code on a route.

in LD 21
REQ PRT
TYPE RDB
and print out the list of all routes.

See if you can find 99 on some of the ACOD prompts.
You can change it right away also, but it has to be done in LD 16.

You were right senk1s I had the calls going out the wrong trunks, that you also had to dial 9 to get out changed RLB and worked great thanks for the help.
