I know the process and you have an old release of software. You will need to access the system via TTY 0.
When getting the password. the system will freeze for a while when in debug mode.
If you have any backup copies, then it is possible to obtain the password from the file.
As Bignose21 has stated, we can't post details on line, even if the system is decades out of support.
