Have an option 11 with a viking w-1000 door/gate phone hooked up with a viking c1000-b controller that when someone pushes the button, it calls the internal extension just fine and conversation can take place upon answer. However, when that extension is forwarded to an outside cell phone number, it calls extension, forwards correctly, the cell phone user answers and conversation can take place, however ringing never stops in the ears of both.
The Viking C-1000B cannot be used with an analog station port while hooked up to a viking W-1000 doorbox (as per viking specs.) so it is using the unused c.o. line method and the viking generates rings to the system which in turn rings the station, then it stops upon answer, but when when forwarded (assumming that ringing is still coming from the doorbox and no where else) ringing does not stop all during conversation. any suggestions? trunk progtamming??
