What LD do I use to see how VOIP is programmed in my Option 11. We only have 1 route, RT 11. we have 5 sites that I can call over our data network, they want me to add a new site on wed 6-23-04. any help I can get is appreciated.

We dial 3 than the number on the Systrm speed call list that the location you want to call and then the Ext number.

If I want to call our Temple, Tx site I would dial 34535000 and this would send me out on route 11. the only thing I change when I call another site is the 45 like if I want to call Corpus Christi, Tx I dial 3123500.

3= DSC
12= posistion on speed call list
3500= Ext number at site

Rt 11 is an IP Trunk route with 24 members

If I dial the access code which is 8011 than 3453500 the call goes though.

So somewhere the system gets the IP address for the location I'm calling.

P.S. I just looked at the card in slot 18 which is where the trunks are for this route RT 11, it is a NTVQ01AB and it connects to the data network and has a serial cable plugged into it, so I guess this is where I would need to connect my laptop to make IP changes. Do I need a special program from nortel?

We have OTM, but it's not programmed there. I believe they used the serial cable connected to the NTVQ01BA card to do the programing, if so how do I connect to it to add a new site Today. Were adding a new location Today and I need to add the (IP address) for that site so we can call over our data network. any help out there???

Thanks

I have found most of the info I need, but I can't find a copy of (IP Trunk: Description, Installation and Operation 553-3001-363). I have looked on the Nortel site but I can't find it. Does anyone have a copy they could email me?

Never mind I found 553-3001-363 on the Nortel site. They sure don't make it easy for you to find it.

To all those that may be interested, the problem was that the desktop pc with the OTM on it doesn't have the interface to the IP trunk data. after trying to access the IP trunk card using CLI, I happened to turn on a laptop next to the desktop and it had the IP trunk interface on it. I was able to enter the dialing plan info and it works OK.
