Option 11 Speakerphone comes on with a busy signal...

Alright guys I have a really crazy one this time....

Over the past several days, one of my cabinets is giving me fits. The phones connected will all of a sudden turn on the speaker phone and make the busy signal sound. There is a loud popping sound associated. I check the affected phones and they are on two different digital cards, but are in the same cabinet. Everything seems to be in working order otherwise. Think I might have a main board in the Option 11 going bad? any workaround you know of?

Is this cabinet connected with fiber? If so then it's probably either the fiver daughter board on the SSC Card, the fiber cable itself or the fiber receiver card in the expansion cabinet.

It is connected with fiber.

Do you know if this might just fail all together soon? I'm in a position where a total failure would be a lot better for me than a strange intermittent type of thing.

I would say it could be on it's way to a complete failure, but that could take days or weeks. I would first try to power down all cabinets then powering them back up and see if the trouble clears.
