Looks like I will have to power down a Option 11 with Mail and Max this weekend. I think it's a fairly simple process, but just wanting a few pointers from the experts:

I'm planning to log onto the Mail and Max respectively and shut them down, I'm sure there is a option to do this once you have logged into them.

Go into LD 43 and do a EDD, then flick the switch on the power supplies on both cabs.

The few questions I have are:

Once the Mail and Max are shut down, should I pull them from the system??

Starting the system back up, which cab should I start with??

Should the meridian be started up first, followed by mail and then finally max??

Hope this makes sense and you can point me in the right direction.

Cheers

bring the switch up, the mail and max can come up at the same time.. ld 48 and stat your aml's before amd after (ld 48) after the edd, it just takes a power switch.. i would soft down the mail but i can not remember that option in the max but it's been a long decade since i played with max... if you have a power outage, no one on site, the switch should boot into service, so a scheduled power cycle should not be that much of a problem
