Hi all, we've recently started to receive a large amount of "accident helpline" calls to our business numbers. Is there anyway to block a certain number on the Nortel Option 11?

Your help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks
Nick

You might want to put this on the Nortel CS1000 (Meridian) systems site, they deal with Opt 11 - 81C and other Nortel systems.
There is no way in a basic opt 11 to do this, if it is that bad, talk to your telco to see what they are willing to do about it. You may have to pay charges for them to do anything.

You could check with your local TELCO and see if they could block the incoming calls to you if it is a small amount of numbers the calls are coming from...

If you have Symposium (or Callpilot) then that can do the routing of incoming CLID.

This is a Norstar forum, a different beast.

Calling the actual company that has the help line might assist if you let them know they are advertising the wrong number.
