Optimize Wizard Won't Run

After installing Norton SystemWorks 2005 on an XP Pro computer the optimize wizard will NOT run. SystemWorks or components will not run either inless you click on start, programs and start them from there, all except AntiVirus and SystemWorks itself. I have tried all that symantec has suggested but to no avail. I have cleared any viruses, worms, Trojans and spyware out of the computer and still nothing. I would love to return the product but I am afraid that I will not be able to get a refund.

PLEASE HELP!!
