I have 150Mb databases which are read only. How can I configure Linux server for maximum speed.
On a local Win98 PC I would create a 200Mb Ramdrive, copy the data to the drive and run from there. Is something similar possible with Linux?
If not I guess Caching would suffice. How can I ensure all the databases are cached into ram?
Cheers.
