Opt 61 rls 19 - CDR disables every 15 min 1

My opt 61 rls 19 disables the CDR port every 15 min, but I can't find any thresholds to reset. any suggestions, besides an upgrade...

never heard of that problem, even in rls 19, what is hte cdr buffer dumping to? it may not see rtr from the far end. did this just start? if so your switch may just need a restart.. an ini did wonders for the older boxes

We had trouble one day when the PC went down with a bad controller card. We got it up again, but the switch cdr port started disableing every 15 min or so, and has been every since. we backed up and sysloaded this morning, but no luck. We are hooking up a laptop with procom today to test it and rule out the pc.

sounds like your comm port on the pc may not be sending the correct leads back you can loop pins 5 to 6. and 7 and 8 to 20 and bypass that.. same as a null but without the 2 to 3 reverse

After the sysload the port disabled one time as soon as the switch came up, but after the re-enable it has not disabled again. I have my fingers crossed, as we are going on an 1 1/2 hours since the sysload, but I was thinking the same as you, problem since PC crash + new controller card = problem with pc port or controller config, but since it hasn't stayed up past 15 min. until now, so I'm hoping the sysload did it's thing.
