I have an Option 11C and I need to find out how many incoming calls we recieved from 01/01/01 to 12/31/01. Is there any way that this can be done through MAT or through an overlay? I don't need the exact incoming phone number, just the grand total of all incoming calls. It seems that there should be a way to track that, I just can't figure out how. ANY advice on how to get solely incoming call totals would be great.

thanks,
autumn

The only way is to have CDR ( call detal recording) running for your system there is some options in custmer data block to track incoming calls.

And if you dont collect CDR data - you cant set it up and go back to earlier dates - once the call completes the ticket is issued and then lost for all time unless captured...

thanks- I will give it a shot....

Ok, so I do have CDR on in the CDB. Now, I am curious as to how to retrieve the data it has collected....
Any pointers to collect incoming calls data?
thanks again,
autumn

If CDR = YES in the CDB there will be a prompt "PORT" this will indicate a number that corresponds to one of your TTY's, this TTY will have a user of "CTY" it is to this device that the M1 sends it's CDR tickets - you will need a device connected to this port to capture the data, that could be a printer, a terminal running a comms package (logging to a capture file) right up to a custom CDR accounting package running on a local PC or via a buffering device.

Remember once the M1 issues the ticket, it's gone.
