Getting the below on a Micros RES 5.1

opstp.cpp (5499 ):
UNEXPECTED DATABASE ERROR
call failed

checks can be closed in SQL but does anyone know how to stop it happening?

It does not affect all checks but now happening a couple of times a day.

try this.

Open CMBO.exe (cash management back office)
the go to configuration-> options> Default template
then link a template for both the server and cashier.

if that doesn't fix your issue look at the 3700d.log and grab the errors you see around the time you close a check and post them.
