I'm trying to install OPSMan on our server. Enterprise Manager has gone on fine, but OPSMan start off well but complains that it needs IIS4 or Microsoft Web Services. We've got IIS6 not 4 (as II4 is old NT4 stuff) so does anyone know why this might be happening.

I've checked other OPSMan servers and they are running IIS6 fine.

what version of ops ent manager?
is it maybe old and it doesn't really run on the newer stuff?

Have you enabled ftp in control panel> add/remove windows components>Internet Information Service(IIS> details> check FTP service.

You should be good to go.

Knowledge is power, thats why we share!

No I haven't. I'll give it a go, cheers.

BINGO! IIS was on, but FTP is not a default install option.
