OPSEC SDK - anyone?

I need to create a simple Win32 app to read the logs from Provider-1 (like what Smart Tracker does, only 1000x simpler). Some CheckPoint research got me the OPSEC SDK. The Windows piece supports C++ only. I'm a VB6 programmer. See my problem? Don't have enough years left to learn C++.

I've already posted to CPUG with nary a nibble. Does anyone here have suggestions for other places that could help me to use this SDK?
