I'm having trouble with OPS manager where it's doesn't "see" the deltas generated by the PBX (controllers) once a change to the Telephone directory has occured.

running latest ops and ent mngr and using 3300 controllers.

example: I changed a user's telephone directory information on a controller and wanted to sync ops manager, but there was nothing to sync according to the Telephone Directory - Utilities under the pending collection column

Did you check to see if there were pending changes queued in the 3300 using the maintenance command?

Also, It sometimes takes 2 cycles to first obtain changes to be made and then to propogate those changes to the other controllers

yes used the maintenance command and there were changes to be made.

Left it for a day though and it works!

maybe something to do with what kwbmitel mentioned...

On my sites I Schedule several Re-Sync's a day.

1 before nightly backup

3 or 4 during business hours (every 2 - 3 hours)

This works well for my customers

One of my sites only has a 3 node cluster but averages 400+ adds. moves & changes per month. For this reason we have an hourly resynch occurring throughout the business day (8 to 5).

Can anyone confirm this? I've heard if you perform an OPS backup while having outstanding (un-propagated) pending changes that a restore performed from that backup may have DB corruption or at the very least will thereafter always be out of synch with the other nodes.

Ops manager / Ent manager IP address and FTP details need to go into the "controller registry configuration" on the 3300, all should then be well.

I do have the ftp details for ops manager in the controller registry

Did I understand you to say that you're performing your MACS directly on the 3300 then expecting Ops Man to pick them up and propagate to the other nodes?

If so, can I ask why you're doing it this way? If you do your MACS in OPSMAN rather than directly on the controller then OPS will (or should) be able to make the changes to all nodes without having to perform a double network sync.
