I have set up opos drivers on the workstation themselves. Not a micros workstation, but micros software on them. have tried these two scenarios:
1: cashdrawer connected to printer - set up as opos
- drawer kicks once when you hit no sale or cash out. then loses comms until w/s is rebooted.
2: Serial Cashdrawer to com 3, printer to com 1, here's the kicker, drawer kicks several times after you hit no sale and/cash
I have used the hydra settings for these as well. There are vendor specific options in pos config but do not know if any of these need to be checked in order to get them to work. Any Ideas?? Thanks.
