Hello,

I am looking for some OPOS POS software to go along with my IBM OPOS hardware. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Did you try IBM? Your question is very vague and is complicated by the fact that the "OPOS standard" is not as standard as sales people would have you believe.

You probably want to state more requirements like what type of merchant you are (retail, fine dining, fast food, etc.), do you require inventory control, time management, multi-user, maybe price range, etc.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I am looking for the POS software, not the OPOS set up utility.

We have a restaurant and a retail store and want separate systems for each. We need inventory control and multi-user capability. We don't have a specific price range yet. We would just like to see the options out there.

I have not tried IBM yet, what do they have to offer?

I'd suggest Aloha for the Restaurant. They offer Table Service or Quick Service depending on the type of operation.
They may also meet your retail need depending on the type of operation.

Maybe you could give us an idea of the type of operations that you are running.
