I've heard the claims on what Speed Ferret can do. Has anyone used it? I'm looking whatever information you can supply.

Does it meet its claims?
How easy is it to use?
Any problems running it?
etc.

Thanks in advance

Wyld,

I bought SpeedFerret based on opinions from M/S Newsgroup user. I found it very helpful for doing "where used" searches so that I could prune an overstuffed Access2000 DB. It also would be very helpful in doing mass find/replacements but I have not done that yet. However, I think it lacks a key feature - Detect all unused references in one search. You have to enter each component name and search on it. The searches are a bit slow (on a 450MHZ machine) but compared to the time it would have taken me by hand, it was priceless. Overall, good ease of use once you figure out the interface. Price was reasonable, too.
