Opinions for 3Com 7700/7750 series switch 1

We are looking at getting a new core switch, and the 7754 is looking pretty good right now. I was wondering if anyone here is using one of these, and what you actually thought of it. I am wondering how it compares to Cisco in term of features, and ease of use.

I dont want to spend 10+k unless its going to be a very solid product. So if anyone wants to share what you think of them please do.

I was recently hired as the network administrator at a small hospital which uses the 7754 for the core switch. I like its functionality and support. I don't, however have any experience to compare it with Cisco. It is a solid switch in my book, but I highly recommend 3com Network Director and 3com Device Manager to manage it.
