we have bc11 sp 10 1 lim system.there are two mags at
the system.sometimes we hear dtmf tones from the handsets of the opi II machines.these unnecessary tones can be heard while the operators both on hook and off hook positions
.

is there anyone who knows the possible reason and the solution??????

of course we did it...

there should be more tricky solution..???

Try replacing the LSU/DSU cards .

the answer of syar is enough tricky for me.....

i will test it .and inform you about the results..

thank you guys.....

Just park the cpu (press the button so it's staying in )
Take out the switch cards LSU & DSU replace with new ones .
Let the cpu botton back out again. The lim willonly do a PLF recovery .(restart).
My idea is there is cross over in the timeswitch between
timeslots .

There could be a problem with the TMU boards. Try change them if it do not help with LSU/DSU.

another one I just thought off.

when we put in OPI's we never put more than 2 on a board.

make sure that the other ports on the ELU5 or what ever card your using are not OPI's
