Yet again I am coming to this group in the hopes you can help me solve our problems. Our operator is having problems transfering calls; from what I see it is from a lack of Sys-Access buttons. The person who installed the system only gave the operator 2 sys-access buttons.

Legend 7.0 w/ a MLX-28LS (I believe) operator phone. Here is the programming of the buttons,

803-I 806-I 813-I NightService
802-I 807-I 812-I DirectVM
801-I 806-I 811-I
SA V-I 805-I 810-I
SA R-I 804-I 809-I

For the life of me I can't figure out how to remove the line assignments, add the SA buttons (I want two more I think) and then re-add the lines.

Any advice?

You'll need to remove ALL the lines, add the SA buttons (add one SA-Orig Only button, so the Operator always has one more unoccupied path into the system for transferring), then re-add the lines.

The lines are probably assigned to pool 70, so when you are in the Extensions>Lines and Trunks screen, you only need to press ONE of the lines in the pool, which will remove or all ALL of them.

The locations of the lines will get pretty screwy. If you need them to be in certain locations, you need to remove the lines from pools, temporarily, un-assign/re-assign, then put back into the pool.

Thank you for your quick response. I entered System Programing, Extensions, LinesTrunks and then entered 10 for the extension. I was greeted with a list of line groups and an "Entry Mode" option. I believe I'd want to go to the "Entry Mode" and I tried this, entered 70 and hit DEL. It beeped a warning beep and didn't seem to do anything. Any advice as to what I am missing?

Instead of going into "Entry Mode", just click on one of the buttons like "1"(for 801) this should turn the green light off for all your trunks (verify all green lights are off on buttons 1-13). Then follow TTTommy's instructions. When done, go back to Extension > Lines/Trunks > enter "10" and click on button '1', this will reassign the lines to her phone.
